Community Focused Education
Opening in 2020, Alkimos College will provide local students with access to an exceptional secondary education in world-class learning facilities.
Recently interested Year 9 and 10 students engaged with Paragon Training to achieve their White Card qualification. This allows our students to complete work placements in the construction industry and is a great addition to their resume when seeking employment.
Our students were very engaged throughout and demonstrated correct use of PPE as part of their assessment. Congratulations on gaining your first qualification!

Year 6 Orientation Day! (PHOTOS PART 2)
On Friday 29 November we welcomed over 230 Year 6 students to the college for an action-packed Orientation Day!
After being placed in class sets students rotated through a series of activities including - the Alkimos Amazing Race, cooking, media, STEM, art, team building and choosing elective subjects.
Students were able to access the college cafe at break times and were treated to a sausage sizzle at lunch and a performance by two of our rock bands!
The day culminated with a mega dodge game in the gym!
Thank you to Mr Beecham for all of his work in organising such a massive day and to his team of staff and student helpers!
